If you have a 3D printer and can solder stuff, this is a 3D printed air purifier pattern that needs some testing and feedback https://github.com/Kels316/DIY-Air-Purifier/blob/master/README.md

⚠️ The Fediverse has been scraped, again ⚠️
Almost six million posts from 363 instances have been scraped.
"All the posts with public visibility published by users hosted on Mastodon servers [...] which support the English language" have been scraped along with their metadata, and the "policy, the code of conduct and the prohibited contents of each instance".
The dataset is an attempt at creating an open dataset for "research" into algorithms like the ones Facebook uses to identify problematic content, based around users' use of Content Warnings.
The dataset can be found here:
It was created by the University of Milan, Italy, apparently for the 13th AAAI:

Please stop using data mining scandals 2 redefine ur own predatory version of consent. Being in a public space is not consenting to be mugged no more than posting in a public space is consenting to have your data stolen. My purse doesn’t suddenly become EVERYBODY’s purse when I leave the house. We need a new bill of data/privacy rights. Will this end all mining 4evs? No, but reclassifying women as citizens instead of domestic property didn’t end all gender violence either.
re: fedi meta, a bit important, in regards to the archived posts
mastometa / the scraping incident
While the scraping is alarming and while there's nothing that will ever absolve those people from their actions, I feel like this should be a reminder to all that posting anything to the Internet, publicly, is something you will have to realistically expect may be gathered against your will at some point, no matter how many rules are put in place.
Capitalism is quietly erasing the idea of private property. All products are effectively becoming rentals, and the companies can revoke your right to use them whenever they feel like it. It's becoming increasingly difficult to actually own anything. Media is streamed, and devices are locked from the users.
It's hilarious how all the things people were afraid of happening under communism are actually happening under capitalism.
Well, the lower temperature and high humidity has thrown off my bread timings! I put together the Overnight White Bread last night, previously when I’ve done it it’s needed to be much several hours less than the 12-14 hours the book suggests, but not this time, oops. Good thing I’m taking notes so I can not fuck this up when autumn and winter roll around, heh.
