Going to bed early on the weekend is actually pretty cool, because you then get to comfortably get up early too. I just woke up and realized I now have the whole day to do stuff!
On the docket today:
- Work on my NodeJS project
- Go to my friend’s ordination
- Watch some more Farscape
- Dinner with my two friends (my wife’s making tamales!)
What are you up to today?
I bought a copy some years ago when I was trying to find a DAW that was a bit "different".
Initially, I found it a bit complex and linear, so I opted for Ableton.
Now that I've abandoned both OSX and Windows in favour of Linux, I'm taking advantage of the fact that Renoise has a Linux port, and am finding new ways of doing at least *some* of the things I was able to do in Ableton.
@tim I don’t have any direct experience with it, so I can’t say for sure if it’s good, but it at least *looks* interesting.
@tim Yeah, there are definitely some similarities.
Have you ever tried Bitwig Studio? If you are still looking for something more akin to Ableton Live for Linux, I'd give Bitwig a try. https://www.bitwig.com/en/home.html
