Paradise Lost: "Enchantment" from Draconian Times (1995)

There's no rule to say you'll cry alone
Just find the strength to help you carry the load
Reverse the frown and let the power surge
But when alone you cannot resist the urge

@NOCARRIER Thanks, but I try not to share the cheesy stuff that I also enjoy.

Like "To Hell with the Devil" by Stryper. :)

@NOCARRIER I got that one album as part of a box of tapes when I was twelve that also had Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Queensrÿche, Black Sabbath, Testament, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Cirith Ungol, Diamond Head, Saxon, WASP, Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Motorhead, Girlschool, Lita Ford, Deep Purple, the Blue Öyster Cult, King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, and both "1999" and "Purple Rain" by Prince and the Revolution.

Basically, the 1990 edition of the ANSI metalhead starter kit.

@starbreaker That's a solid list of tapes! I wasn't able to get into King Diamond (or Mercyful Fate) for ages because I couldn't handle is vocal style, impressive as it may be. A few years ago I picked an album up again and finally got it.

I didn't have that one as a kid. Just "To Hell With the Devil". I've listened to SUC back when I used to use Spotify, though, but I can't be bothered to get my own copy. I'm not really a Stryper fan, but THWTD gets a pass because my selection was so limited as a kid.

@starbreaker @NOCARRIER lol soldiers under command. christian metal. my kid brother was into them and i gave him endless shit about it
