@sorrawan Looks amazing. Do you get to go frequently? I've never been diving, but the pictures you share make me want to experience it.

@ScribbleAddict Right now we go about three times a week since we're staying on Grand Cayman for a month. Otherwise it really depends how often we have access to the sea, sometimes it's every weekend like when we were living in Bangkok and could drive down to the beach or when we were living in LA and could take the boat over to Catalina Island to go diving. We generally try to live in places where the diving is never more than a few hour's drive away!

@sorrawan Wow that's amazing! From all the photos you share, it seemed like it was frequent, but I woudn't have guessed it was that often. That sounds like a life of adventure :D

Maybe I'll be able to get passed my fear of water enough to do it someday lol.

@ScribbleAddict you totally should! I started out afraid of SCUBA diving because I struggle with claustrophobia and I felt all that gear was very claustrophobic. But with practice I became more comfortable and I loved it!

@sorrawan Oh yeah, that's a lot of equipment! I can see how claustrophobia would also be a factor. I've always been terrified of drowning. I think I'm a better swimmer than I give myself credit for, mainly because I panic easily in water. But I think you're right about getting better at it with practice. I bet I'd enjoy it eventually :D

@ScribbleAddict I think you would! Many people are afraid of drowning and don't realise that when you dive it's all about floating in three dimensional space and it's really quite relaxing.

@sorrawan lol I'm super landlocked. I live in Kentucky, currently. I grew up near the coast in NJ though, so I miss the beach to be honest. My family used to vacation summers in North Carolina at a house on the beach. Some of my favorite memories are there. I got to go to St. Lucia once, and loved it there.

@ScribbleAddict This is actually my first time in the Caribbean (besides Mexico)... loving it so far. Would love to visit other islands. Never been to Kentucky, NJ, or North Carolina even! Worth visiting?

@sorrawan NJ is not the best lol. I like their pizza, bagels, and some other things. But overall, worth a pass. Kentucky is pretty nice. I like living here all right, but it's sort of isolated and not much art work here. Has some pretty locations though. And for those who love horses, it's heaven haha (not really me). NC is beautiful. One of my favorite states. Gorgeous beaches, forests and mountains. And the water is usually warm and clear. Love it there.
