How to make a Matcha Pistachio protein smoothie:
1) Pick your vanilla #protein powder: #vegan, #paleo, #whey, or casein? Add 1 scoop to a blender.
2) Throw in 1 banana, preferably frozen
3) add 1/2 cup ice
4) add 1-2 tsp matcha powder, 1-2 TBSP ground pistachios & (optionally) 1 TBSP shredded coconut.
5) blend everything together until creamy.
Enjoy!

@lostnbronx I've broken more blenders than I can count trying to blend ice in my smoothies or by adding too many frozen berries and trying to make my smoothies extra thick... until I found NutriBullet and their Rx model: https://www.amazon.com/Magic-Bullet-NutriBullet-N17-1001-Blender/dp/B00N9IG28O/ref=pd_sbs_79_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00N9IG28O&pd_rd_r=N114P8DHCKR3QBNZBRAA&pd_rd_w=7Wk8q&pd_rd_wg=Nlv8m&psc=1&refRID=N114P8DHCKR3QBNZBRAA
Wow, that's a nice one. And it looks like the price has dropped considerably. What's that is says about a heating function? Have you actually made soup with it?
@lostnbronx I don't have the one with the heating plate, that version of the Rx model just came out.
I'm thinking about one of the styles, right now. It seems like a good design!

What type of blender do you use? Most consumer-grade blenders I've come across can't make a smoothie super-smooth without injecting so much air it's like drinking (chunky) whipped cream. Plus, the machines just don't stand up to daily use, and often die quickly.
