Two slightly different color selections going out to a couple of McCaffrey fans.

Finally got the worktable lights plugged back in after rearranging the work room. Here's the latest iteration of the bejeweled beanie dragon. It has a slightly revised body shape, hoping to get a little more floppiness/posability out of the legs by making them thinner. It's only partially successful because the minky itself has some body at that size.

The embroidery also makes the tail kind of stiff - or maybe that's the dragonfly DNA.

Also, first pictures with the new phone camera. Might continue to use the iPad for product photography because the default balance/contrast is nicer than this (the lettering on the right wing is *much* more legible than the picture here makes out).

Look at this tiny little orca!

I sized it down for a 4x4 hoop and... that made it smaller than I had imagined. It’s a bit finicky but still easier than trying to sew something that tiny on a conventional machine. And it’s three-dimensional while still being entirely in-the-hoop which has been my grail as far as designs that will stand out in the market.

(Yes, that’s it compared to the Boston Terrier Orca, I don’t even know where the purple one is right now.)

Revised design. Wing/tail embroidery needs to be a more contrast-y color in minky this fluffy, but I'm happy with the design.

Yes, that's a one-inch grid on the cutting mat there. Dragon is *tiny.*

I can't remember now if I ever posted pictures of the original sun conure, but here it is. A test pattern in craft felt, with compromise wings (half spread, jointed so they pivot). I did post a link to someone on DeviantArt/Etsy who made one from my pattern; I think a couple others are out there.

The plan for the new parrot will be magnetic wings, so they can pivot but also so you can swap out fully-open to fully-closed.

Long boi is long.

Also black velvet accumulates a *lot* of lint. Tomorrow in daylight I’ll clean him up and take pictures again.

Teddy “bear” panther is built like a teddy bear, proportioned like a panther but his joints won’t let him stand like one (though he drapes over a tree branch mostly like one, other than his neck is still awkward).

Little felt kitty sixteen of seventy. Back to a more natural color. Not thrilled with how the marker worked on the wool; I'll probably try some other types before I do more of that.

I'm making these up as I go, just kind of putting on different types of eyes and such, so number fourteen's resemblance to a toothless dragon is entirely serendipitous.
