Haven't posted my latest stuff here :) The rocks are for fun and pracitce and the mermaid is for #mermay ... although I do not intend to do any more mermaids this month :) Done in @Krita I'm thinking either about some trees or a wizard next ;)

She's often depicted as an old lady and her coming precedes the coming of Spring. Baba Marta's name is also related to the martenitsi (basically a red and a white wool or cotton thread intertwined) that people give each other on March 1st for better health and luck.

So, her name is Baba Marta. Here's some info about her:

Baba Marta is a fictional character in Bulgarian folklore. Her name comes from mart which is Bulgarian for the month of March and her mood changes just as easily as the weather in March - at one point she might be warm and friendly and in the very next - furious and wanting to kill you.
