hello and welcome to my new @mastodon.art account! happy to be here! as an introduction, here's an art vs. artist I did recently. the stuff I draw is for a game I'm working on, in which you explore a space capsule populated with abducted chunks of alien worlds, make friends with monsters, and team up with them to solve space mysteries.

the cover from my new visual novel, Shell-shamed and Reported to Sea Authorities by a Mollusk, Because You Are an Alien She Has No Real Framework For Parsing And Incorrectly Assumes You Are a Parasitic Mimic Whomst Is Bad At Mimicry

hello and welcome to a house! we are very proud of you. please, take a load off. enjoy laughter on a pleasant day. run into darkness at every convenience. please enjoy our many circumstances. :)

*beats final boss without touching a single elixir*

two new ones. for starters, we got a bunch of different screenfolk: we got arch-influencers, spammers with adbots, content dealers, various mods with itchy ban-cannon triggers, and a new startup that scavenges the parts-strewn battlefields of The Omni Acquisition for working components, eager to disrupt whatever industries yet remain.

and then for the second image I drew a bug.

I have aggregated some recent doodlin' into a single post: this is that post.

here we got:
• two bug symbionts
• some Friday feelings, courtesy of Greg
• an analog horror-enjoyer enjoying some o' that poorly-veiled propaganda in a new analog horror project
• Rocko, the world-famous rockabilly wraith. while there are surely dozens of other rockabilly wraiths out there, only Rocko has achieved a modicum of success on the world rockabilly stage.

"....and to everyone who's ever said, 'oh we love your comic, especially the duck at the flower—how did you come up with the duck at the flower?' I don't know how to tell you this, but... I *didn't* come up with it. and it isn't a duck. and that isn't a flower." — Clyde's last post

an anxious jock is late for practice! ... or exactly on time for adventure???

AMBUSH! you have been CORNERED by a PRATTLEMOUTH GOLGOK. they immediately start to INFO-DUMP about DIY AXE-MAKING

sure, this sounds bad, but what's suspiciously omitted here is what the lightbug process of "teaching them how to be friendly" entails

so I drew the tiny puff cloud before I drew the dang creature so big, but I find the wild discrepancy pretty cute. so now, in addition to creating huge wind tunnels that span the entirety of the forest floor, these critters also whistle—but like, it's a mighty whistle. a whistle that makes our own human whistles seem weak and pathetic in comparison.

what, do you think I'm *made* of additional nutrients? right. sure—of course.
