Ci sono alcune persone che parlano Italiano nel Mastadon? Voglio practicarlo ma non c'é nessuno che parla Italiano nell'Oklahoma, ed anche non posso prendere i lezioni italiani dell'Università
On the upside, I haven't updated in a while so i can share a nice backlog
I haven't been on Mastadon in a while but it's looking pretty likely I'll be stuck in the middle of nowhere, Oklahoma for most of the summer so I might be on here to kill time more often...

I have no idea how I want to go about coloring this... Everything I try ends up all over the place, but I also don't want to just go monochrome
I feel like I come from such a different background than a lot of artists... I never drew fanart, wasn't into anime or neopets or anything. Pretty much until I was out of high school I was working on technical stuff through AP art but never made art for myself. A big part of my growth as an artist in the past two years has just been finding out what I actually want from art.
I'm going to start posting screenshots and gifs from the game demo I'm working on, but right now it doesn't look very exciting since I'm nailing down mechanics and design before any assets get developed
I'm feeling a lot of pressure to do a lot of things at once. I'm thinking about game design internships, but don't feel like I have enough for a strong portfolio... On top of that, my biggest strength is I'm a generalist (art and programming), but every listing is for a very specific position.
So now I'm working on portfolio artworks, a game development demo, and a website all on top of school starting in a few weeks. Wish me luck!
Sketching out a cozy witch's bedroom because 2018 is the year of self indulgent art
I got Richard William's "The Animator's Survival Kit", which I've heard called the best book on animation. I've been reading through it, which he does a good job of keeping really engaging. I think it's a nice mix of reference and teaching. Certain sections are great for picking up nuggets of wisdom, but I am sure I will come back to it just to remember how something works, as well.

Been away while I've been coming back to the states, here's a thing!
I had to stop watching Koroku no Basket since I moved to Italy, but I just discovered Ace of the Diamond and UHH I'm wrecked
I just booked a two day solo trip to Venice. I'm gonna see all the big sights, but really I'm planning on wandering around and drawing stuff, which is something I don't really get to do normally when I travel since I'm with people
My absolute favorite part of making any piece is post-production. Adding noise, sharpening stuff, messing with color channels, adding particles. It's like a little treat for finishing a piece.
I don't draw fan art even though I want to. Maybe because my style is so different from the stuff I would make fan art of that I just never think to do it? Idk also I love super soft fan art but my art isn't soft at all. I think I just need to break through and start making some anyways.
I just see fan art all the time and adore it so much, I feel like I'm missing out on so much by not making any myself.
I struggle with self portraits but I'm in the middle of drawing about 10,000 bricks so I took a break to make a new avi
