Today I’m working on a tiny #art #quilt with scraps from the mistake I made earlier in the batik quilt. I don’t want to waste these and this project is perfect. First step was to rip all the seams. #quilting

This is how you make the folded, layered look for layers and strips of fabric.

Batiks are much easier to do this with because both sides are the same. Underneath is a foundation of unbleached muslin.
