Another finished illustration, yay!
Not 100% happy but what counts is that it's finished and I have practiced painting on tinted paper.

Something a bit more experimental: alcohol based markers on green paper.
Green is a terrible color to paint with: mixing yellow and blue is much better, but I am OK with how this turned out.

A bit messy, but overall I am happy with it.
It's good to keep up with the "finish what you started" mindset.

Gratitude lists not working for you? You're not the problem.

This essay said some things I needed to hear at a time when I really needed to hear them. I'm putting this out there in case someone else needs to hear them, too.

This one is really hard to capture because of the glare (I really need to set up my scanner).
I am not 100% happy with it, but I am continuing with the "finish what you started" philosophy.

Just occurred to me today that you younger folks who have the benefit of awesome tools like #blender might not even know that POV-RAY exists.

Pretty amazing what people are doing with this stately old piece of code these days. Check out the hall of fame, I think you'll find an image or two to be impressed by!

Many years ago, when computers were crawling, embryonic half formed things compared to what we use today, this thing was AMAZING and let anyone ray trace. It was *empowering*.

The pros of being home ill.
I am not sure I am happy about this but I trying to stick to the "finish what you started" philosophy.

Drink some more water. When was the last time you filled your cup?

@Tusky is it worth mentioning that masto does have distributed verification support, using rel="me", and that tusky can display that information? :blobcatthinking:

because yeah, masto has distributed verification support, using rel="me", and tusky can display that information :blobcatsip:

I have been enjoying painting abstract landscapes with markers recently.

New month: bring it on! November 01, 2019 at 12:15AM

Trying something different to cheer myself up with markers on moleskine watercolour paper.

When I said things were starting to look up again, what I meant was that life was getting ready to punch me in the face again... But harder.
