I've had this guy on the back burner for like a month? Two months? It's been too long. I just really wanted to paint a turtle.
I have two versions of this: one with line art and one without. I can't decide which one I like better. The whole painting process ended up being quite an adventure, and I'm considering repainting it.
Time for some #2MinuteSketch practice! :D
Your word counts/time limits to work on pieces;
Sketch: 2 minutes per pic
Writing: 50 words per pic
Music: 30 mins per pic
Enjoy, have fun, and share your results!
The Shapeshifter, a cute animation that was frustrating to make but I really like! I really wish I had more time for stuff like this.
Also does anyone have advice on how to reach out to writers or good writing communities? I'd really love to do some small collabs of illustrated short stories/poems.
finally! this was a struggle. I haven't done that kind of digital processing for a while.. but after some endless tweaking it turned out like this. I hope you like it :3
Doing a little analysis on digital watercolour. I tried Rebelle 4 and Expresii today. I love the fluid simulations in both programs for the watercolour. Expresii feels very expressive and I can control tilt with the right mouse button which is cool since my tablet doesn't have tilt, but Rebelle's watercolours are also very nice to use and allow more western style type of painting I guess. #digital #painting #watercolour
