Jupiter Hadley played Guerrilla Gardening as part of her #LDJAM compilation series, check it out: https://youtu.be/LrYzQfgK9hU?t=7m45s
@vivaizix Thank you 😃But, I did plan on having them actually produce fruit and that probably will be a thing in a future update 😬 I hope that doesn't ruin it conceptually, I do still want it to be about health and community and beauty, but I'm hoping other aspects of the game will explore those themes more fully.
@hyperlinkyourheart i definitely think there's room for defining that concepts with other mechanics, and that it gets that concept across clearly without the berry thing! more just that it's a happy accident it ties in with that theme.
i'll be excited to see what more you're up to with it ❤ it really is one of my favorites i've played in awhile!
@vivaizix That's really nice to hear, thank you 😄 I'll be posting about it here of course, as well as a devlog on itch.io, if you have an account there and follow me I think you'll get notified about the devlogs
@hyperlinkyourheart i think it's interesting, i also had the temptation to harvest the berries. i figured out quick you couldn't (i think?) and the purpose was to fill all the planters, which I do like as a goal.
just interesting how players are inclined to think 'oh I'll get something for this'. which gives this conceptual definition of the goal, like: 'no, it's for the beauty, for the growth itself'
such a great game :)
