i felt kinda dumb by later dumping this after adding my character's details on another layer, so all i did was set the shadowed area to multiply, in case you were curious.

the other day i started a paintin of some of my newest oc's (that i still have to finish), and i went for this new technique were to the base sketch i added the basic shadows i wanted (ref were used), i liked the general one without characterization and though it was a good exercise, even if i my first intention hadn't been making easir my painting process.
