With The Social Dilemma film bringing the discussion into the mainstream, some who had already been thinking about these issues for a while are suggesting that federation - not regulation - is the solution. I agree that regulation creates further distortions and pushes into the centralized dystopia and I think federation is great for many things, but can it really solve the filter bubble effect? I doubt it.
