@eylul Oooooooooo I love your drawings! By #humanalgorithms, do you mean “anything that is algorithmic but implemented by hand not a computer program”?

I am slightly behind with but I am really REALLY behind on posting them.

Light quality hasn't been amazing lately but enough delaying.

also because there was serious color editing in . My blue acrylic looks substantially different to my camera than my eye... very strange.

It seems like #Krita is still looking for someone to manage their #Peertube channel. They already have an account, so it would probably just be a matter of taking the videos from Youtube and uploading them to Peertube. Hopefully there is someone willing to help them.

#art #mastoart

the hardest part of inktober is to find empty space to photograph the end results. xD

This year, for I will be doing small abstract sketches this year as I did need to test out some new ideas and this gives a good opportunity.

I am a bit behind, but here is

day 1: Poisonous.

@eylul Apparently you can warm up masking tape with a hairdryer and it should melt the glue and make things come off easier. I'm usually using gumstrip for watercolour so I haven't tried it myself though.

I think it's beautiful how imperfections make art. Software developers work really hard to add imperfections to art programs and CGI, because humans can sense when something is too perfect; we're made uncomfortable by it.

We love the grit and grain of the page and the graphite. The rough and irregular edges of ink and chalk. The imprecision of the human hand.

Don't be perfect. Be you. That's what people want. That's art.

on a lighter note, I now have a different type of masking tape. We'll see how it goes. :D

posting this only because I posted the WIP and I am trying to be better about posting about the process rather than the results only.

Sometimes things go wrong. This one won't make it to any portfolio. Its a bit unfortunate because I like the resulting drawing. However, the masking tape related tearing and inexperience with acrylic damaged the paper too much...

oh well...

( because it is documented with openCamera)

Mastodon doesn't punish you for living your life.

It doesn't actively take metrics of your interactions to gauge your social or cultural capital.

Never will it demand that you post this much to be or stay relevant to the community, disappearing into the void if you don't meet The Quota.

So please, for the love of toot, take breaks whenever you feel you need to! We'll be here when you get back! :patcat:
