@eylul Nice, I've been debating if I want to find an Intuos or try to adapt my Suraface Pro as a drawing tablet.

The more I think about Krita and MyPaint the more I want to give computer drawing a bigger chance.

@eylul @KemoNine I plugged my Huion tablet in for the first time in a year last night but couldn't get it to function in Krita or MyPaint. I could use it to navigate the desktop, but not function within an application.

Seeing some of the great digital sketches the last couple weeks has inspired me. Need to get that working.

Oh, it's the pen-shaped bit that comes with the 610 Pro.

@jdb @eylul Sorry, who's tech are they using for pressure sensitivity, resolution, etc.

For example: Wacom and N-Trig make digitizers and are commonly used in tablets.

@jdb @eylul Yeah, the are lean on "brand". Given the specs and some other quick searches it's likely they are using their own tech under the hood.

Looks like a solid option without breaking the bank too. I'm going to have to dig into this more.

@jdb Not remotely first time I drew with a mouse so the hand coordination is there probably true but actually you can! :) (Now if you want to subject your wrist to that, that's a separate question :P)

It is a lot easier to do paint and work with value, then ink outlines with a mouse. I'd very much rather not do outlines with a mouse (except using vector tools obviously). :) 🤓

@eylul I didn't even think of the ergonomics of it. I guess don't make a habit of it if you want your wrist to last a lifetime!
