Sometimes a photograph wants to be 2 different things. I had a very clear vision of the story I wanted to tell with this picture and larger series, so that crop ended up being what it is. However, in this case, it does break my heart a little because the original is a very powerful photo in itself. So here it is, for posterity. ;)
(oh.. the cost of this photo was a 4-day long headache, and it was the last photo taken before retreating indoors.)
