Recently after a lot of rain we had some mushrooms grow beside our house so I took some photos and did a little study of them!

They were hard to identify XD

I released my big pixel font under the Open Font License! 19k+ characters with full Hangul and good Chinese/Japanese support in addition to a hefty set of European characters.

It's meant for pixel art games to make localisation easier, but you're welcome to use it for anything you like.

Very proud to have Kingdom Ka be a part of Itch.io's already immensely successful Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality, alongside so many indie-greats.

Anyway pay your artist for the gargantuan task of converting stuff like "Dawn. Overhead crowd scene. Monster suddenly appears from below their feet" into something exciting that explodes off the page and hooks an audience haha

Pacifica is #60 on Top Web Comics! If you're enjoying the story give it a vote and let's see how high we can get it! topwebcomics.com/vote/21592

Anyone around with experience swimming in tannin-heavy (dark) lakes/ponds? Does the water sting your eyes?

I recall some discomfort from when I swam in such water as a child, but I haven't done a lot of swimming since and it's possible it was just the same as low-tannin/"light" water and I just tolerated it better when I was older.

(This is just writing research, nothing deep.)

Two Funds Named for Nina Pop and Tony McDade Provide Free Therapy Sessions for Black Transgender Folks
theroot.com/two-funds-named-fo

Just backed The Cork on KS. Their tiers are tl;dr and confusing but the game looks great, and I hope they manage to pull through in these last couple of days! It's a Souls-esque metroidvania with super low-res pixel art. The $10 tier includes a copy of the game.

Art tip/PSA because I keep hearing about people accidentally inking on their sketch layer:

Use a darker colour for sketching, and then set the layer's opacity lower. That way you still get a light colour for your sketch, but you'll instantly know when you're inking on the sketch layer without having to lock the sketch layer.

Hey there, I'm Jess!

I'm mainly a traditional artist who dabbles in digital art. I love watercolour and coloured pencils but I'll use pretty much any art supply because new things are fun.

I also dabble in comic art and hope to get back to it properly someday!

While not arting I mostly play video games. You'll see a lot of ESO fanart here because it's my main MMO!

A very hatchy page today. Thought the hatching looked neat without the lines.

Sometimes you just decide your past self was wrong and that an easy background-less panel definitely needs a background with furniture and wood grain.

Are your panel designs chaotic evil or a lawful good

I'm one hundo percent lawful good I need my nice neat grids lol

The reason I call this one-shot a horror comic is because I have to draw all these roof tiles.

New here? Remember that Twitter is optimized to make you into passive consumers, by en(r/g)aging you with content that you don't choose yourself.

Here, that doesn't happen. But it also means you're responsible to find people to follow.

It will take some work.

If you're willing to put that in, you'll find a wide variety of friendly people that will be happy to have meaningful conversions and laugh and cry together with you.

Start by searching and looking at who other people follow.
