FontForge woes

I've got a problem I don't know how to look up D:

I made an 8x8 fixed-width bitmap font, and when exporting it as "(faked) MS bitmap only sfnt (ttf)", the Windows font preview only shows the leftmost 3px of each character. Using the TTF in Photoshop causes it to crash after a while.

The TTF works fine with SFML, and will probably be fine in game engines, but I want to make a proper, Windows/Photoshop-compatible export before I release the font to the public.

FontForge woes

@eishiya I don't know the exact answer, and I already boosted it once, so it seems noone that follows me knows, but...

Maybe throwing the font in question through a font-validator or linter can indentify what makes PS so upset? Microsoft has one here: github.com/microsoft/Font-Vali

@Wolthera Oh, that's a good idea. I don't know why it didn't occur to me to look for a validation tool.

Not sure if I'll be able to actually *fix* any of the errors, but at least I'll be able to compare them to those of a working font. Thank you!
