Prompted by a discussion w a friend, but: do you see a romantic partner as that exclusively or as someone you are/become best friends with?

@eecks Totally depends on the relationship. I do think, though, that for something to last a long time, you need to be or become friends. (Also, what people consider the definitions of exclusively friendship vs exclusively romantic will vary a lot from one individual to another I think).
