🎨 Hey touchscreen artists, what do you use? I picked up a low spec Surface Pro 4 and I've used for all of my artwork for 2 years. I don't have a desk anymore.

@Otherbuttons I drew on iPad mini for a while but it was just too slow. It got me hooked on portable art setups though!
@docky I replaced my iPad with a Surface Pro and I haven't looked back yet, even with Pencil. You can't be running adobe cloud on an actual Windows OS as opposed to an app on iOS or Android, and then having to migrate work back and forth.
@docky I use the newest surface pro!! They've come full circle and it's just called the surface pro, I switch back in June from a Wacom Create! I feel the same, I do all my art on my bed now lol

@docky it's totally worth it, the newest pen is the best tool I've ever used. Feels just like a real pencil!
@docky I use a mid range surface book for most of my main art but when I'm on the go, I've got a new pro that I love sketching on! I still need to get skins for both of mine though x.x.
@drcthulumort you have the 2017 model? I'm seriously considering an upgrade. My 4GB RAM is struggling.
@docky Yeah! I love the battery life on it. I know that feel of the 4gb ram life way back when. Ever since I got the upgrade to 8gb I can't ever go back. Defs do the upgrade, you'll have less lag and also you'll be able to work on larger picture sizes.
The new accessories like the pen (4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and less latency) and type covers, they are backwards compatible aaalll the way to the pro 3. TBH you could probably get the new pen and see some marked improvements on the drawing feel before you go for the upgrade.

@docky I use a Yiynova. It's an obvious bootleg-y Asian product, but it does its job (and I got it cheap off an art friend).
It's not the most fun product though. It's really big so I had to buy an arm for ease, and it's got some shadow issues if the cable's in the wrong place. Not to mention my battery got stuck in my pen recently and I had to botch-job it since it's pretty much impossible to get a new one in the UK with ease. ;o;
I've been meaning to use my ipad mini with my wacom stylus more too, but I can't find any compatible programs that I gel with.
