So is cursive dying or something? I'm meeting more and more everyday ppl that can't read it? I'm not exactly mourning it, but it is interesting seeing writing evolve in real time. Kind of like watching dialects transform and evolve a language as a whole. Its neat. But yea is it not being taught anymore?š¤

@denidimochka I think the last time I had to write in cursive was in 4th grade, which I am shocked to do the math and realize was like 20 years ago. They told me I'd better get used to it because it'd be a requirement for adult life.
Haven't used it since.

@denidimochka a lot of schools removed cursive from schools. At least in Canada they got rid of it.
@denidimochka yea none of my schools ever required for it to be taught, save for one single teacher in the fifth grade who had us doing cursive as like "warm up exercises" before we would start into the actual school day and that was just our class. none of the other 5th grade teachers in that school taught cursive. and I jumped around several middle schools in my state and none of them ever made an effort to teach cursive. They just guilt tripped students for not knowing it? lmao
