Hi Artists!

Do you try and interact with your customers on social media?

I created a tarot deck back in 2013, and my customers post about the deck on instagram and YouTube—it's so amazing! I like to thank them, since I do basically no advertising of my own, but maybe this is bad? I don't want the commenters to feel inhibited by my presence..

‪tfw you’ve been working at home all day and when you finally go out you keep checking to make sure you haven’t somehow left the house with no clothes on.‬

I'm really happy with this and glad I painted it for the person I painted it for, but also it hurts my heart to look at it now and i wouldn't mind sleeping for maybe most of the rest of forever

Working with something this big, I have to force myself to move to different parts of the painting whle I'm working in order to avoid leaving any one piece too far behind the rest.

Do you make big art? How do you cope with composition?

First art on my plate this year is finishing my composite “Bridges”, which is my biggest-ever watercolor (I usually work around letter-size, and this painting is 10x larger).

This is two coats of underpainting. Looking forward to finishing this baby over the next week!
