Human mind can come up with pretty weird things, but some weirder things are alive & near us.
Like this Grimpotheutis, also known as Dumbo Octopus, living at the very bottom of our oceans.
And there are still weirder stuff down there, but not as "cute" as our little Dumbo friend here😉

@CountZero I was completely blow away by the fish with the transparent head. Its eyes are inside the head (green discs) and point upward. The features at the front are not the true eyes.
