@shoutcacophony It's particularly vexing when other people are all "go work in a coffee shop for a while if home is too distracting". It... doesn't work well for composing, I'm afraid. Background noise I can sortof manage, but anything intentionally tonal with a coherent rhythm is a no-no.
I do have a small list in my head of places without background music that I can work in.
