Obviously you should caption images to help people with visual impairments, but here's some other reasons to do it: Show more
⭐ If the site doesn't load properly an alt text description might make people interested enough to check it out later.
⭐ If you took a screenshot of text, it might not be readable on different devices depending on image format.
⭐ Writing descriptions forces you to think critically: what is important? If you struggle with promoting yourself/your art, this is low risk training!
