"I thought that non-binary was something for westerners and not for Iranians..
"In Persian language, nouns are not divided into genders, but living beings and non-living beings. “U” is the Persian pronoun for living beings. My pronoun, ultimately, is U. My pronoun has always been gender-neutral. [One day] other non-binary people will be as grateful to this humble Persian pronoun as I am. And that warms my heart."

Also, a heads up that Mastodon•ART will be switching from Approval-based Registration to Invite Only sometime in the near future. I'll get you all a precise date soon.
We'll likely remain in Invite Only mode until we secure enough funding to cover our hosting/operating costs. Once that goal is reached, we'll open registration back up.
Ways you can donate to •ART:
My good friend Jesse is doing a charity stream in support of fighting the Amazon fires TOMORROW and on Saturday!
All proceeds will be going to an indigenous organisation (originally the idea was to donate to the Rainforest Trust, but it's better to donate directly to the people affected)
Feel free to stop by and spread the word if you can !!!
