Hmm. Actually, maybe 'bfg-repo-cleaner' is the wrong tool.
I also see 'git-lfs-migrate', which seems to be newer.

Also, it's already installed, because it's part of the git-lfs package. And that's a DEB package, so none of the crap I was dealing with before.

Now I just have to learn how to use it.
