Linux grumbling

Snap packages feel like demons from the dark hell-dimension of "smartphone" "apps" being summoned into the waking world of a Linux distro, and I don't think I approve of that necromancy on my desktop.

They are governed by weird cursed demonic contracts. And they want my blood on the dotted line. I'm sure of it.

Linux grumbling

@TerryHancock Snaps are Canonical trying to nose their way into the app market by packaging up preexisting parts inside their one, centralized, controlled store, even redirecting 'apt install' requests for the more common bits.

Luckily it's easy enough to remove if you've not installed any. AppImage or Flatpak work just fine, if distribution packages don't.
