excercise for programmers: write a function, that for an array with numbers forming an integer from look-and-say sequence (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Look-and) returns the next integer from that sequence. example input: [2,1], expected output [1,2,1,1]. you do not have to care about checking if the input is valid, keep it simple. i am curious of the possible solutions, I wrote mine in haskell (gist.github.com/mfandl/f709704), but pick whatever language you like. #programming

Hmm, that reminds me. I need to get installed on my new PC (as well as purchasing a numpad so I can use the software properly).

I was actually getting pretty ok with it, but had to pack it in due to a lack of Numpad. All hot keys on that area of the keyboard are just too useful to ignore.

Ah god damn it, I tried to get some work done today but just hit a wall and decided to play instead.

If you like , , & (planning on learning) , go check out @TSHSmith. ♥

He's a cutie and has such good ideas, and deserves all the friends. I've been trying to get him to share his work more for a while.~

( also you will quickly learn the phrase 'Goddamnit, Will' at the dad jokes )

Took longer than expected, but the has now been put together. This will now act as the backbone to the rest of the project! :tialove:

My only problem with the development tools is that the server browser takes an age to refresh any data, noticably so when using an hosted database. I just gave up trying to use the UI to delete constraints and rename columns as it took too long to generate the script to do the task.😒

I now have the rough and down for a basic api management system. Never again will be left in the water because I lack the time to build a bespoke .

Once built I'll be able to use this single site to manage multiple queries of both get and set to multiple databases!:tialove:

A little while ago I built a small package that adds static functions that can convert Unix/Epoch time to a datetime object. It's gotten a couple hundred downloads.

nuget.org/packages/TSHS.EpochC

Built my first functional app today at an event called where I live. After some discussion with some people from the local council we decided that the idea of an app to help people report location of rough sleepers would be a good idea.

So in about 4 or so hours I managed to get the below created. I was able to use it to get the devices location (random location thanks to emulator). However due to time constraints I wasn't able to get it working with a database. mastodon.art/media/UWiqPYPzNe0

Hey, I'm new here so here's my introductory post.

I'm a Hobbist programmer, addict and recently graduated from a degree. I've just started to learn how to and I've just started learning for following several years of experience with , and development.
