A tip for new mastodon users just like me - you can individualize your mastodon with lists! Create lists of your close friends, favourite creators or whomever you like and have your own timeline for them. Pin- and unpinable anytime.
No missing out anymore. Wow, I love mastodon for this function.
@ThisQueerBashesBack Hello! You have the bullet point "Lists" on the Getting Started/Navigation bar, from there you can create lists and fill them with life. One thing- they won't show past posts from the people you put on it, only future ones and future boosts from them since the creation of the list.
To make a list a timeline, use the "pin" button under edit list.
@Styxcolor Thanks! That's very handy. Do you know if the List-ed people will still show up on the Home timeline?
@ThisQueerBashesBack already tested it. Your private lists will not affect the home timeline. Everything in it's place.
