@bluebirch I didn't. At least, not entirely. I still run #Xubuntu on my old netbook, and #Ubuntu on the laptop that never leaves the house. But you know how it is sometimes. :) I saw #Fedora by accident and fell in love. :) Now I've installed it in dualboot on my laptop to see if that's just a fling, or a beginning of a beautiful relationship. :) Since #Fedora differs from #Ubuntu, I'd like to learn more about it. And since I'm not really a tech gal, I'd like to start from the beginning.
@bluebirch Personally, out of all #Ubuntu spawns I prefer #Xubuntu. :) Unity looks nice, especially the left panel which I love. But then, Xubuntu feels more... homey and warm. :) I can't really explain it, it sounds ridiculous even to my own eyes. :) Yet, Xubuntu is the previous love of my life. Before I met #Fedora. :)))
@SeventhMagpie What I like with #Unity is the keyboard shortcuts and search window. Reduces need of mouse to a minimum.
@SeventhMagpie I have used #Ubuntu since stone age and never even considered changing since I love Unity. But as far as I know, Ubuntu is scrapping Unity so maybe I'll have to rethink.
