Silly things I love about my job: Whimsical Velocipedes!
Looking forward to putting this old friend back into service tomorrow.
Oh that's wonderful.
I have this weird fascination with human powered vehicles that are not traditional bicycles.
I had a touring bike rot in my garage while gleefully learning to unicycle.
I'll have to dig up a photo of the 'cycocycle' I bought a couple of years ago. It's a folding trike without handlebars. You sit on a seat where they should be & steer like a unicycle.
Terrific for getting close to people at events because it moves slow and is low to the ground.
Found an image of the stock model online. I stripped all of the stickers off mine (because the reference to psycho made me uncomfortable) and added grip tape to the back step

Would love to see pictures of those eccentric wheels/bike.
@RussSharek I was just wondering if my mother who loves scrapbooking has any pics. Good excuse to be the good soon and call
@sikkdays @RussSharek
And now, i want one 😊
@sikkdays @RussSharek I have this vision now in my head of this wobbly bike, designed to wobble. Funny.
@RussSharek My father worked at a bicycle shop from the age of 16 until his death in his 50s. Once, for fun, he made a couple of wheels with hubs that were not centered. So the bicycle bucked you up and down. He rented it to clowns when they came to town or for parades. It was always fun to tell friends to unknowingly take it for a ride. #smallstories
