Cw eye contact (drawing)
Third of the selfie series, my boy Richard ❤
He's broke af and his phone will probably die after two photos 😆
Btw I want to use pixelfed more bc I love the concept but I just always slide back to insta bc there are so many artists I like... 😢
Cw for eye contact and slightly thirtsty drawing??
Anyways this is a new one ❤
I've been told recently that my artsy stuff has a pretty dark tone? Like pretty much "u should smile moar" but for drawings, and.... smiling, happy ppl are so. Hard. For me.
I smile a lot irl but drawing what I don't feel is kinda harder... if that makes sense...
Also THE IRONY to write that to a pic where the character is actually smiling and in a good mood, lol
Oh hi, I'm new around here. I draw stuff. Especially #naked people because clothes are too mainstream.
It's been a while but heres some artsy stuff for y'all again ❤ I'm currently playing w screentone to get a better hang of it, especially in backgrounds 🤔
Also I'm trying to fight instas choking gip of addiction ... 😅😭
Anyway, heres Richard and some rocks
Instance suggestions needed + smut.
This is gonna sound weird, but I need somewhere to post and talk about smutdrawing. I need to improve my illustration-work, skin tones, bodies etc... and lets be honest the best training I remember getting as a kid for drawing was drawing my own smut.
For those of you who don't know, most of your illustration friends did this/do this and its basically like an illustration school.
What instance is the best for this?
I'm on #pixelfed finally! :D
Who's around there, too? I want some art folks to follow :D
Also I read somewhere I could import stuff from instagram there, anyone knows how that works?
Talent is a myth.
Don't let anyone tell you that you're not "gifted" enough to do art. All it takes is patience, focus and discipline, and those can be trained.
Look for the right teachers and learning material, surround yourself with artists better than yourself, and generally work a shit ton - you can make it.

Atm I'm wondering how this will work on a platform like mastodon, since posts like this (with multiple answers) tend to become messy pretty quickly 😬 How do you discuss ideas??
Hi everyone! I'm Naki, an illustrator/designer, nice to meet you!
Boosts always welcome unless said otherwise <3
