Time for an #introduction

I have returned to Mastodon! I chose the art community because that is what I like to do and share when online.

Currently, I am working on a webcomic project about and alchemist and a demon. Still working on my buffer!

In my day job, I am a manager of electrical engineers. I used to be a field engineer myself. If anyone wants to know how electricity or airplanes work, ask me!

I am having too much fun with the colorize tool and now I am playing with gradient layers. Somehow I think I made a ghost.

Colorize on Clip Studio makes it look like I know how to use digital watercolor.

I am so tempted to just do a comic all in sketches instead of lineart and color it this way. Seems so much easier!

Astrath is a blacksmith. Her favorite things are her hammer and using other people as armrests, as she is taller than anyone else in the story (even her brothers)

CW: Nudity. Nothing explicit, just a pretty redheaded woman sitting on her heels. This is a figure practice that turned into a color practice from back a few months ago. I am working on color and light, and even with all the technical flaws, I like this one a lot.

This feed is gonna take some getting used to. Ever tried eating something with a fork with one eye closed?

Its sort of like that. Everything looks familiar, but not exactly where you expect it to be when you reach for it.

I am champing at the bit to post more art - but I don't want to stress the servers when they are clearly having it rough :D

Anyhow, I like to draw people in a heavily inked style. I wanna share!

I was actually on the .art instance several years back - made a new account though, had to leave another name behind.
