Just in time to finish this week's #Fedipixels challenge. Wide ratio is kind of challenging for me, and the restrictive palette is no joke either, but I think I pulled through.
The category for #Fedipixels1 was Combat Vehicle, so I chose a Tachikoma (ใฟใใณใ), from Ghost in the Shell!

Protip: if you use Krita, save your canvas as soon as you open it. If Krita crashes, you'll only get a recovery file if you've already saved your work - then it's great at giving you a very recent recovery with minimal work loss.
But if you're working on an unsaved canvas, you get nothing.
If you liked this drawing, make sure to be on the lookout for my stream announcements to watch me draw them live! I'll probably stream this Thursday at 5-6pm GMT, give or take an hour.
(I just realized I forgot to use my special tag for this one. whoops. I'll probably forget in the next one as well LOL)
I'm gonna stream #pixelart for a little while! Here's the link if you want to hang out with me.
masto/fedi advice for artists
one thing that is different here than commercial places you might be used to is that metrics doesn't matter. interactions do.
boost other people's work (or reply to them) engage in meaningful conversations.
the less you treat this place as a broadcast medium and more as a communication platform, the more you will enjoy the fediverse.
hope this helps
Speaking of: It's about time I make a commission post in here as well.
Soon. Right now my commissions are closed, but soon.
A hundred people found me in here so far! Not bad for just a week of activity.
I'll slowly start reposting all my old #pixelart that I posted everywhere else, so that you can find it here.
I'll also start posting stuff under the hashtag #Karvisprite so it can be easy to find.
Thank you, guys!
