And you can attend a yearly meeting where users and developers get together for a few days to discuss, code, share research and tell stories around these beloved tools.

It's called the #LibreGraphicsMeeting, #LGM for short. This year, it will be in Rennes, France.

@lgm

I can tell that the website has most probably been written by a french person as there are some french-like spelling errors 😅

The website looks pretty dang good though

@ChrisTalleras Yes. The local team is in charge of communication :)

You can always submit a bug here: github.com/libregraphicsmeetin if you'd like :)

@lgm

Nah, I'm not that bothered. Just thought it was funny. 😅

But it is something that shouldn't happen with a good communication team. Seeming messy, shaky or lacking of competance is probably not something LGM desires.

@ChrisTalleras For sure. Just FYI, we're all benevolant on this project and use all the support we can get.

Thank you for your input and comments and I'll see what I can do to improve our communication.

@lgm

If LGM ever happens in Norway I'll be the first to be a volunteer or whatever one does to help out the project! 💪

@ChrisTalleras @lgm I always thought "programme" was a (the) valid English spelling and "program" was an Americanism, isn't it?

@qwazix @lgm

That could be true! But might also mean it's a unstrategic choice communication-wise as it sticks out or can seem like a mistake when it is just proper british.

@ChrisTalleras @lgm there's also another distinction I vaguely remember someone told me

Program: piece of software
Programme: schedule

dunno if that holds
