Anybody on here with connections to KDEConnect?

My reliable ability to transfer to Android/Kubuntu has recently stopped. Reinstalling the software on both platforms has made no difference. The two don't see each other on the WiFi network.

Boy, oh boy.

KDEConnect, which I use every day was not working the past couple of days. I reinstalled the software on my Android phone and on the Kubuntu laptop...no joy.

"Is it on the same network" asked a person on IRC chat.

"Of course, yes," I replied and then quietly checked the phone settings only to find that WiFi was turned OFF! O don't remember doing that.

It takes two or more minds to answer even the most obvious problems.

Thanks for listening.

As regards KDEConnect, I do think I should recommend it to all GNU/Linux users in the crowd.

It allows easy, quick file transfers from my Android phone to my Laptop where I can manipulate them (mainly photos). I had a couple of plant photos to prepare for tomorrow (Weed/Wildflower Wednesday) and they are slower, more bothersome to email to myself.

I believe there's a Gnome client, as well, for those not on the KDE bandwagon.

@Algot the shared clipboard has been a favorite feature of mine for a while. Very handy when someone sends me a link via text/chat message. I can just copy on the phone and paste on the desktop.

@Hawk1291

Thanks for pointing out that feature which I've overlooked.

Looks like it could be useful.

I'll look forward to your future posts.

@Algot that's interesting. I usually plug my phone into the usb port and mount it with jmtpfs.
